Do you speak French and want to work in Canada? The Francophone Mobility Program could allow you to obtain a work permit without a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
How does Francophone Mobility work?
This stream of the International Mobility Program allows an employer located outside Quebec to hire a French-speaking worker without obtaining an LMIA. The program could apply to all job categories, with some exceptions (including primary agriculture in TEER 4 and 5), to be confirmed with an immigration lawyer. CLB level 5 in oral skills could be enough.
In our video, follow the story of Amina, a cook from Tunis, who receives a job offer from a restaurant in Ottawa.
How CB Legal can help
Our team supports you with your eligibility assessment, complete file preparation, employer support and your work permit application.
Each candidate’s eligibility must be assessed during a legal consultation with an immigration lawyer. The final decision rests with the immigration authorities.
